New data published today by AYPH as part of the Health Foundation’s Young people’s future health inquiry show the scale and complexity of young people’s health inequalities, and the need for action.

AYPH’s youth health data hub now has a new tab dedicated to young people’s health inequalities.  There are over 40 new charts on the site looking at health outcomes, the drivers of inequality, and levers for action.  The site includes a briefing paper with our conceptual model for understanding youth health inequalities, and lots of infographics you can use in your own work.

We hope this evidence will provide a greater understanding of the areas of most concern, so that interventions can be targeted to reduce health inequality faced by young people.

Watch this short video to see how to navigate the website to find the data you need in relation to young people’s health inequalities.

We’ve also written a blog post to summarise the main findings from the data, published on the Health Foundation website.
