AYPH runs training and events to support organisations and individuals to understand and meet the particular health needs of 10-25 year olds.

AYPH training is developed and delivered with young peopleWe deliver online and in person training and you can commission us to deliver in house bespoke courses. We also hold regular online webinars. Sign up to our newsletter for more information or contact us.

We have run in house training for a variety of organisations, including: NHS England, the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, and local Integrated Care Boards.

Are you working in young people’s health? Do you commission or deliver services for adolescents and young adults?

We want to hear and celebrate all the different ways young people’s health and wellbeing is supported in the UK.

Join us for a pragmatic and practical conversation on approaches in our current system, hear how colleagues are building solutions with and for young people and hear young people’s perspectives on what works best for them.

We are looking for different approaches to providing youth friendly health care and would love to hear and showcase a wide range of examples.

Addressing health inequalities amongst young people

Engaging adolescents and young adults in your health research – ethical practice in action

Are you leading research about young people’s health and keen to involve young people in your work but faced with some tricky dilemmas? Join our course to learn more about taking an ethical practice in participation and engagement work with young people.

This course is comprised of two online sessions.

Group facilitation for youth engagement

Do you want to sharpen up your workshop facilitation skills? Would you like to support the young people you work with to gain confidence in facilitation?

This two day course allows you to understand and practice the components in designing and delivering a safe, fun and creative workshop for young people and / or the professionals that work with them. 

This course is a 2 day in person training in London.

Youth mental health first aid

This online course trains you as a Youth Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider®), giving you an in-depth understanding of young people’s mental health and factors that affect wellbeing and the ability to support a young person with a long term mental health issue or disability to thrive.
